Dear Patients and Friends:
The safety of our patients is always our top priority. It is important that we correlate our patient experience with current safety recommendations. In accordance with North Carolina State and CDC Guidelines, we are updating our mask requirements in our office.
Fully vaccinated people can resume activities without wearing a mask or physically distancing.
Those who have not been vaccinated and/or have not had COVID-19, we ask that masks be worn voluntarily for personal protection and to prevent the spread of the virus.
We recognize that some people have not been vaccinated and some, even if fully vaccinated, feel more comfortable wearing a mask. We respect each individual’s rights and will do everything possible to accommodate those needs.
However, if you answer yes to any of the questions below, please call our office to re-schedule your appointment.
Have you experienced any of the following symptoms in the past 48 hours:
- Fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, or diarrhea
- Within the past 14 days, have you been in close physical contact (6 feet or closer for at least 15 minutes) with a person who is known to have laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 or with anyone who has symptoms consistent with COVID-19
- Are you isolating or quarantining because you may have been exposed to a person with COVID-19 or are you worried that you may be sick with COVID-19
- Are you currently waiting on the results of a COVID-19 test
If you have any questions or require special accommodations, please call our office at 704.375.7111 and we are happy to assist you.
We look forward to seeing you and treating you soon.
